• Your details as the buyer: name, email address, and — if you choose text reminders — your phone number.
• Your recipient's details: name, email address, mailing address, your relationship to them, and the favorite things you describe so we can choose a thoughtful gift.
• Your plan details: the occasions and dates you select, gift prices, and any notes you add.
• Payments: card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout. We never see or store your card number.
• Basic usage information and cookies that keep you signed in and show us which pages are useful.

• To choose and deliver each gift on time, and to write the card inside it.
• To remind you before an occasion and confirm when a gift has shipped.
• To send receipts, plan updates, and replies to your questions.
• To keep the financial and tax records we are required to keep.
• To improve our gifts, our dates, and the service overall.

We share the minimum needed to fulfil your plan, and we never sell your information:

• Stripe, which processes your payment.
• The postal carrier delivering a gift, which receives the recipient name and delivery address.
• Our email and text message providers, which send reminders and receipts on our behalf.
• Service providers who help us run the app and our records, under contract to protect your data.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to share.

Please only share details your recipient is comfortable with you sharing. If someone receives a gift from us and asks what we hold about them, we'll tell them, and we'll remove their details on request once the plan is finished.

Reminders are part of the service: we email or text you before each gift ships, based on the preference saved on your plan. You can change that preference at any time. You can opt out of marketing messages separately — you'll still receive the plan messages we need to send.

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how the service is used. You can block cookies in your browser, though parts of your plan page may stop working if you do.

We keep plan and delivery records while your plan is active and for a period afterwards for accounting, tax, and legal reasons. After that, we delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to close your account and remove your details once your plans have finished.

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, and to stop using it for marketing. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. Email us and we'll help.

Data is encrypted in transit and access is limited to the team members who need it. Wrapped in Sunshine is a service for adults, and it isn't intended for anyone under 16.

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and, where the change is significant, let you know by email before it takes effect.
